Glenn’s determination to offer exceptional care to our clients and their families is mirrored by every carefully selected member of staff at Greenfield Care.

Our staff have either completed or are working towards an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) Level 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care.

Our staff are trained in the following aspects of care and receive continuing professional development:

  • Moving and handling
  • Health and safety
  • First aid
  • Food hygiene and safety
  • Infection control
  • Fire safety
  • Abuse awareness

We also encourage our staff to attend further courses that include:

  • Understanding dementia
  • Understanding the needs of carers
  • Understanding challenging behaviour
  • Dealing with stress
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Personal care including end of life care
  • Risk assessment

Greenfield Care is always interested in hearing from potential care workers and professionals who would like to join our team. Specific experience is not essential, but we do require all applicants to have a caring and responsible attitude, empathy with our clients, good communication and observational skills and a positive outlook. I would like to say a massive thank you to all who cared for my mum in her home, Peta. In particular, Kate, Pauline, Liz & Steph. Mum is well and is settling into life at the care home.
